Noha Abdalla recently joined Hilton as the Vice President, Global Social Media, where she is responsible for building the Center of Excellence for social media marketing across 14 brands globally. The center of excellence will focus on social media strategy, content and platform strategy, governance, social technology and innovation as well as social media listening, insights and community management.
Prior to joining Hilton, Noha was the VP of Brand Digital and Social Media at Capital One where she built the social media team from the ground up and led the company’s Social Media Center of Excellence. On the digital brand side, she led enterprise content marketing, social listening, and was responsible for launching and marketing the company’s digital innovations. In previous roles at Capital One, Noha was responsible for retail bank consumer marketing as well as digital product innovation and mass media strategy for the National Direct Bank.
She joined Capital One from Discovery Communications where she led marketing for Animal Planet, including the Surprisingly Human re-brand campaign in 2010. Noha also spent time leading national blood donor awareness campaigns for the American Red Cross, and was a management consultant at Corporate Executive Board and Mercer Management Consulting.
Abdalla holds an MBA from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University and a BS in International Economics from Georgetown University. She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and 3 daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, running, and going to the beach with her family. Noha also serves on 3 boards in her community.
